Legislative Strategy 2010 in its seventh months of implementation

The Legislative Strategy now has 130 draft laws. During the period of January-July 2010, 39 draft laws were approved or only 30% of the LS`10.
The Legislative Strategy of the Kosovo Government 2010, that until the end of June had 128 draft laws, faced changes during the month of July. During this month, with three different decisions, the Kosovo Government made changes to the legislative strategy, by adding and removing drat laws in this strategy. From the Legislative Strategy (LS'10), the Draft law on Export Control was removed, while three other draft laws were added: the Draft law on Public Procurement, the Draft law on the Center of Kosovo for Public Security, and the Draft law on amending and supplementing the Law on Police. With these changes the LS'10 currently has 130 draft laws.
During July, 5 draft laws were approved. The total number of draft laws approved during the January-July period is 39 draft laws. Compared to the total number of draft laws in LS'10, the Kosovo Government achieved to approve only 30% of draft laws from the Legislative Strategy.
