GAP report on private higher education is highly appreciated by the british expert on licensing and accreditation

In May 2008, the Institute for Advanced Studies GAP published a detailed report for the private higher education in Kosovo.

The report is entitled “A Review of Private Higher Education in Kosovo” in which we presented information regarding 25 PBHEs mostly with the objective to emphasize the information for the opportunities that provide each of the PBHEs in Kosovo. In this report, we gave certain recommendation to the Kosovo Institutions. After the GAP report on higher education, there followed other reports in this field, the most important of which was the report conducted by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education - officially hired by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology to evaluate the capacities of both the private and public higher education institutions. In this report, published on January 2010 by the British expert Steve Bristow, which is entitled “Licensing and Accreditation under the Law on higher education in Kosovo 2002-2009”, the GAP report was cited as a “powerful report”.
