Government proposes to the Assembly the names for the Procurement Regulatory Commission

In the 125^th meeting, the Kosovo Government proposed to the Kosovo Assembly, the appointment of the Chairman and Members of the Procurement Regulatory Commission, as follows: Safet Hoxha – chairman, Ilaz Duli – member and Silvana Nikolcevic – member. Based on the Law on Public Procurement, members of the PPRC must meet at least one of the following criteria: he/she must be a lawmaker, an economist or a professional with a university degree in the field of engineering or architecture, and have a significant experience in the execution of work projects. In contrast with the previous mandate when the PPRC was consisted of 5 members, but with the amendment and fulfillment of the Law on Public Procurement in Kosovo 02/L-99, article 86.1, in February 2007, the PPRC now consists of only three (3) members. The mandate of five years remains the same, whereas the re-appointment of the members can only be done once.
