Rrona is Research Coordinator at GAP Institute. She joined GAP in October 2021 and has served as Researcher until March 2024. Before joining GAP, she worked at the Central Bank of Kosovo as a Financial Stability Consultant for a period of two years. Also, during the period November 2017 - August 2019, she was initially engaged in the Ministry of Economic Development as Senior Officer for Sectoral Analysis, and then in a USAID project - Kosovo Energy Security of Supply, as a Financial Expert.

Rrona completed Master’s studies in International Finance and Economics at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, through the Young Cell Scheme program. She completed Bachelor’s studies at the University of Sheffield, International Faculty in Greece, in the field of Business Studies: Accounting and Finance. During her Master studies, she received the award as the Best Student in the International Finance and Economics program, and was part of the ‘Head’s list’ during Bachelor studies. Rrona has also participated in many seminars and professional trainings on economic and financial issues.
