Ernera Dushica

Researcher

Ernera is a Researcher at GAP Institute since January 2023. Her interests include economic and fiscal policy analysis from a gender perspective. Before joining GAP, she was a Coordinator for Gender-responsive Budgeting at the Kosovo Women’s Network as part of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network in Western Balkans and Moldova. During these three years, she has published a series of economic analyses examining the impact of public policies have on women.

Ernera has completed her bachelor studies in Economics and Statistics at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Kosovo, where she was part of the Dean’s List for four years. She has participated in many trainings on public policy, public finance management, and women in politics and decision-making among others. Ernera has also been a participant of two cultural and professional exchange programs sponsored by the U.S Department of State.
